What the physical component changes

The fiber link itself does not radiate a radio signal. This can reduce exposure to RF interference and reduce dependence on radio line of sight, but it does not make every UAV platform automatically suitable. The drum, fiber, outlet, routing, aircraft dynamics, and ground-side system still need to be evaluated together.
